Realme C17 Physical Overview
The device is available in 2 colours navy blue and the lake green. The Realme C17 provides us a different look than what we usually see and expect in the ordinary Realme C series smartphones. The phone comes with a mate finish of the poly-carbonate back without any patterns or ridges and I am big fond of mate finish. This phone looks great especially lake green colour with mate finish is mind blowing which is light metallic sea green colour.
The phone's camera bump is quite higher but thanks for the silicon case which will cover up that right up. Although the phone is lighter then I was expecting because of the large battery. The phone does not comes with any of waterproof or dust resistance certification but the Realme does say that it is slash resistant.

Realme C17 Display Specifications
The phone comes with a 6.5" inches IPS 720p LCD display and pixel density of 270 ppi and the top left of the display we have the whole puch cut out for the phone's selfie camera. But the best feature of the display and the phone itself is the high refresh rate of 90Hz.
I think the high refresh rate display really improves the way you experience your phone and from the price perspective this is the cheapest phone that I have seen with a high refresh rate display.
Now, I know lot of you complain that this is a 720p lower resolution display but honestly ai have used the Galaxy Note 9 for a very long time and I never any felt that it was worsting my experience in anyway. And if I have to choose between a high refresh rate 720p display or a normal 60Hz refresh rate 1080p display, I would probably go for the high refresh rate. I really don't think that the higher resolution enhanches my experience more than a smoother display.
Realme C17 Camera Specifications.
Now, let's get to the camera setup of Realme C17 and the phone comes with a quad camera setup at the rear side with a 13 megapixel wide angle primary camera, a 8 megapixel ultra-wide lens, 2 megapixel macro lens and a 2 megapixel black and white depth sensor.And in the front of the phone we have a 8 megapixel camera.
Both the rear and front camera can record upto maximum of 1080p with 30 fps. I used to consider the Realme for providing best camera setup in the budget segment smartphones but this is not done with the Realme C17.
The hardware of the camera is not that ok, the primary 13 megapixel camera takes very soft images without much details and you can realize the aggressive sharping in the images where software tries to make up for the low megapixel hardware.
But, the software is processing is quite up to the mark, the colour reproduction is nice and also the have the features like HDR for the both front and back camera which makes the most of the dynamic range of the sensor. So, even with low camera hardware, the software makes up with it.
Realme C17 Procesor and Storage Details.
Now, this Snapdragon 460 chipset is a new one by the Qualcomm and they claimed that it chip will provide 70% better performance than Snapdragon 450. So, while it is not a powerful chipset it will handle daily usage, social media and casual gaming.
I also played Pubg mobile for a couple of hours, by default the game ran on low settings with no options for HD but it was definitely playable and I didn't experience any kind of lag issues or staggering.
I also tried COD Mobile on this phone and the game ran on high graphics and high frame rate just fine.
So, overall considering this phone offers a high refresh rate display and it can handle all of your daily used apps and you can also do some casual gaming on it, I think I am pretty satisfied with the phone.
Realme C17 Software Details
Realme C17 comes out of the box with Android 10, which has awesome Realme's UI on top and this interface is my favourite in the mid-range or lower mid-range smartphones because the experience you get here is very close to the Stock Android. So, no heavy screening which makes it light and overall experience is extremely comfortable.
Realme C17 Battery and Charging Setup
The phone comes with 5000mAh big battery with the combination of a big battery, a 720p display and a power efficient Snapdragon 460 chipset you can expect really great battery life from this phone. And with the normal usage you can easily go through a day with this phone.
So, this phone is going to be great option for those who expect a good battery life from their phone. And not just the big battery we have also got in box the 18W fast charger with the phone.
Realme C17 Price and launch date in India.
The Realme C17 expected to be launched in India in this week or the upcoming week in the Price around ₹12,000 for the base variant.

Overall, the Realme C17 is quite good enough for daily usage and casual gaming but for the camera enthusiasts this might be depressed you.
